AIIZ’s Customer Privacy Notice

RENO (THAILAND) COMPANY LIMITED (the “Company”) has prepared this AIIZ Customer Privacy Notice (the “Notice”) to inform you of the Company’s rights, conditions, and the necessity to collect, use, and process personal data of customers who purchase AIIZ products through the Company’s sales channels, including:

1.AIIZ retail stores
2.The Company’s online channels, such as the corporate website and official social media platforms (e.g., LINE Official Account, Facebook, and Instagram)
3.Third-party online marketplaces
(collectively referred to as the “Customer”)

By entering our stores, purchasing products, or providing personal data through any of the Company’s channels, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to this Notice.

If you do not consent to the collection, use, or processsing of your personal data as described herein, the Company may be unable to provide certain services, as such processing is necessary for the performance of the Company’s obligations.

This Privacy Notice applies solely to the purchase of AIIZ products from the Company. It does not apply to third-party platforms or services over which the Company has no control or involvement, including but not limited to data processing conducted by online marketplace operators, or the collection of images or transaction data by department stores in the case of AIIZ counters or corners.

For such third-party processing activities, customers are advised to review the applicable privacy policies of those third parties separately from this Notice.

The Company reserves the right to revise, amend, or update this Privacy Notice from time to time to ensure compliance with applicable laws, business practices, and the Company’s service or delivery formats. The Company will notify customers of any material changes through the Company’s official communication channels.

Personal Data We Collect and Process
The Company collects, uses, and processes certain personal data of the Customer for the purposes of product sales, delivery services, business relationship management, and the provision of customer support. In this regard, the Company may process the following categories of the Customer’s personal data:

For In-Store Sales Channels (AIIZ Store / Counter / Corner)
The Company may need to process the following personal data:

 1.The Customer’s facial image that may be recorded through the Company’s CCTV system installed within AIIZ stores under the Company’s direct control.

 2.Other personal data that the Customer provides or consents to the Company for processing purposes, including:

  1. Identification card details submitted for the issuance of a tax invoice;
  2. Information provided during communication with the Company’s customer service team;
  3. Personal data submitted for voucher redemption, reward collection, or participation in promotional activities such as surveys, competitions, lucky draws, or other Company events.

For B2B Sales Channels
The Company may collect and use personal data of representatives of a juristic person, including authorized directors, authorized representatives, sales representatives, or procurement representatives designated by the Customer for the purpose of conducting business transactions.

For Online Sales Channel, the following personal data will be processed :

  • Customer’s general information, including full name and technical identifiers that may identify the Customer, such as IP address or device information used to access the Company’s online sales channels;
  • Customer’s delivery and contact information, including shipping address, telephone number, and other contact details such as email address;
  • Customer’s purchase information, including transaction records and product details, and may include payment information used for the purchase (such as bank account details or credit card information);
  • Other personal data that the Customer may provide to the Company relating to marketing preferences, interests, or participation in promotional activities, including surveys, competitions, lucky draws, or other Company-hosted activities.

Objectives for Processing Personal Data and Retention Period

The Company collects, uses, and processes the Customer’s personal data (as defined) for the following purposes and retention periods:

  • To process purchase orders and deliver products to the Customer
    This includes order confirmation, customer identification, payment processing, and coordination of product delivery.
    For this purpose, the Company will retain the Customer’s personal data for the period necessary to perform its contractual obligations and for the period during which the Customer may exercise rights under the Company’s policies, such as the product return or exchange period.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations
    In particular, tax and accounting requirements. The Company will retain personal data for the period prescribed by relevant laws.
  • To develop and improve the business relationship between the Company and the Customer
    This may include retaining personal data to facilitate future purchases. For this purpose, the Company may retain such data for up to 1 year from the date of the Customer’s last purchase.
  • Customer Communication Management
    To manage communications between the Customer and the Company, including responding to inquiries, handling complaints, or receiving feedback. For this purpose, the Company will retain the Customer’s personal data only for the period necessary for each communication. In addition, the Company may retain such data for up to 1 calendar year for service quality monitoring and improvement.
  • Protection of Legal Rights
    To protect the Company’s legitimate rights in connection with any claims or disputes that may arise between the Company and the Customer. For this purpose, the Company may retain relevant and necessary personal data for 1 year from the Customer’s last purchase date.
  • Participation in Promotional Activities
    To administer and manage the Customer’s participation in competitions, promotional campaigns, or other marketing activities organized by the Company, subject to the applicable terms and conditions. For this purpose, the Company will retain personal data for the duration of the activity and for a period not exceeding 1 calendar year thereafter.
    The Company may also use photographs or images collected during such activities for advertising and marketing purposes, and may retain such materials for as long as reasonably necessary for business operations, provided that the Customer’s rights as a data subject are not unreasonably affected.
  • CCTV and Security
    To ensure the safety and security of the Company’s retail premises, the Company will retain CCTV footage, including facial images, for a period not exceeding 60 days from the date of recording.
  • Marketing Communications (Based on Consent)
    Where the Customer has given consent, the Company may use personal data to contact the Customer regarding products, promotions, or marketing materials that may be of interest. The Company will continue to process such data for this purpose until the Customer withdraws their consent.

Disclosure of Personal Data

As a general principle, the Customer’s personal data will be kept confidential by the Company. However, the Company may disclose or share the Customer’s personal data with the following parties where necessary:

  • Third-party service providers engaged by the Company to provide sales, delivery, logistics, or related services to the Customer, including logistics providers or professional consultants of the Company.
    In such cases, the Company will disclose only the personal data that is necessary and on a need-to-know basis, and under the terms of a personal data processing agreement entered into between the Company and the relevant third party; and
  • Governmental authorities or regulatory bodies where the Company is required to disclose personal data in order to comply with applicable laws, regulations, court orders, or lawful instructions (for example, the Revenue Department).

Company’s Commitment to Information Security of Personal Data

The Company places great importance on the security of personal data and represents that it has implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures in accordance with applicable laws to prevent unauthorized access, use, alteration, modification, or disclosure of personal data.

The Company will regularly review and update such security measures to ensure alignment with industry standards, best practices, and any changes in applicable laws and regulations.

Data Subject Rights

The Company respects the Customer’s statutory rights as the data subject under applicable laws. These rights include:

  •  The right to withdraw consent;
  • The right to request access to and obtain a copy of personal data;
  • The right to request correction or rectification of inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • The right to request data portability;
  • The right to object to the processing of personal data;
  • The right to request erasure, destruction, or anonymization of personal data where there is no further necessity to retain such data;
  • The right to request restriction of processing; and
  • The right to lodge a complaint with the relevant authority.

If the Customer wishes to exercise any of the above rights, the Customer may contact the Company through the contact details provided below. The Company will review the request and inform the Customer of the outcome within a reasonable period of time in accordance with applicable laws.

AIIZ Membership Privacy Notice

RENO (THAILAND) COMPANY LIMITED (the “Company”) issues this Privacy Notice to inform AIIZ Members (the “Member”) of the terms and conditions governing the collection, use, and processing of the Member’s personal data.

Upon enrolling as an AIIZ Member through any of the Company’s channels, you shall be deemed to have read, understood, and accepted this Privacy Notice.

If a Member does not consent to the processing of personal data as described herein, the Company reserves the right to reject the membership application or suspend certain membership privileges, as the processing of personal data is necessary for the provision of membership benefits and services.

The Company may revise or update this Privacy Notice from time to time to ensure compliance with applicable laws, industry standards, or changes to membership benefits. Any amendments will be communicated to Members through the Company’s appropriate communication channels.

Personal Data being Collected and Processed

The Company collects, uses, and processes the Member’s personal data as necessary for membership administration and the provision of membership benefits, including the following categories:

  • General Information
    Full name, date of birth, and other basic identifying information.
  • Contact Information
    Residential address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Transaction and Membership Activity Information
    Details relating to purchases and the use of membership privileges, including purchase history, points accumulation, redemption of benefits, discounts received, participation in campaigns or special events, and any other benefits provided under the membership terms and conditions as updated from time to time.
  • Additional Information Provided by the Member
    Any other personal data that the Member may provide to the Company in connection with membership registration, participation in activities, or the receipt of membership privileges.

Objectives for the Personal Data Processing

The Company shall collect, use, and process the Member’s personal data for the following purposes:

  • To confirm membership status and member privileges
    Pursuant to the membership terms and conditions. Such privileges include, without limitation, point collection, reward redemption or other benefits, special discounts, participation in special events organized by the Company, facilitation of product ordering and delivery, and the right to receive information regarding membership benefits as may be announced by the Company from time to time. The Company shall process the Member’s personal data only as necessary for the provision of such benefits in accordance with the defined terms and conditions.
  • To build and improve the business relationship between the Company and the Member
    Including requesting feedback and satisfaction surveys, responding to inquiries, handling complaints, and providing relevant membership-related information. The Company shall process personal data only to the extent necessary and in a manner that does not excessively impact the Member’s rights as the data subject.
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations
    Including, but not limited to, accounting and tax compliance requirements.

Personal Data Retention Period

The Company will process and retain the Member’s personal data for the purposes specified above throughout the duration of the AIIZ membership.

In addition, where the Company is required to retain personal data in order to comply with applicable laws (for example, accounting or tax obligations), the Company will store such personal data for the retention period prescribed under the relevant laws.

Disclosure of Personal Data

As a general principle, the Company will keep the Member’s personal data confidential. However, where necessary, the Company may disclose or transfer the Member’s personal data to the following parties:

  1. Third-party service providers engaged or appointed by the Company to provide services or administer membership benefits; and
  2. Governmental authorities or regulatory bodies to whom the Company is legally obligated to disclose such personal data.

In all cases, the Company will disclose personal data only to the extent necessary and solely for the purposes required by law or in connection with the provision of membership benefits.

The Company represents and undertakes to implement appropriate information security measures to protect the Member’s personal data from unauthorized access, use, alteration, amendment, or disclosure.

Member’s Rights over their Personal Data

The Company respects the Member’s statutory rights as a data subject under applicable laws in relation to the Member’s personal data under the Company’s control. Subject to the conditions and limitations prescribed by law, the Member may exercise the following rights:

  1. The right to access and obtain a copy of their personal data;
  2. The right to receive or request the transfer of their personal data in a commonly used and machine-readable format;
  3. The right to object to the processing of their personal data;
  4. The right to request the deletion, destruction, or anonymization of personal data where it is no longer necessary;
  5. The right to request the suspension of the processing of personal data;
  6. The right to withdraw consent previously given to the Company;
  7. The right to request correction of inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated personal data;
  8. The right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority.
